Customers whom wish to restrict video conferencing traffic to only permit Easymeeting.net access to their local video systems had to previously configure every single I.P. address owned by Easymeeting.net on their firewall. If we made a change to those I.P. addresses, it would often break and/or limit the firewall rules previously configured by customers.
In order to get around this issue and to provide flexibility to customers and Easymeeting.net, we've created a DNS service record for:
The DNS host record, services.easymeeting.net, will point to all Easymeeting.net owned I.P. addresses so customers only need to configure one Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) rule on their firewall. If Easymeeting.net removes or adds an address, it will automatically update accordingly on your firewall once the DNS refreshes.
